Equally inspired by the subject and the environment, Mike Howard wants his images to evoke questions, particularly about the story of the subject. Mike seeks to capture the character of his subjects in a unique, pronounced and profound fashion.

Primarily a location photographer, Mike concentrates on editorial, music, nightlife, fashion, and environmental portraiture. He is proficient with location and studio lighting, digital capture and processing, and traditional film. Mike is a teaching assistant at the New England School of Photography, and is available for assignment work.
